Franklin Pool Remodel — LaurelBrooke
McMillion Pool Company completed an extensive swimming pool renovation in LaurelBrooke in Franklin, Tennessee.
The existing pool was renovated from the pool shell outward. The project included new underground pool plumbing, updated Wi-Fi pool automation, new waterline tile, limestone coping, a new quartz interior pool finish, Tennessee stacked-limestone retaining walls and a new limestone pool deck installed in a French-pattern layout.
Instead of simply resurfacing the existing pool, the project updated the appearance, plumbing, equipment controls and surrounding outdoor living area.
For homeowners considering a major pool remodel, projects like this demonstrate how an older swimming pool can be transformed while retaining portions of the original pool structure.
Pool Resurfacing in Franklin, TN
Resurfacing is one of the most noticeable improvements you can make to an older gunite swimming pool.
McMillion Pool Company installs premium interior finishes including Diamond Brite quartz pool finishes and Hydrazzo polished pool finishes.
Before applying a new finish, the existing pool surface needs to be properly evaluated and prepared. Depending on the condition of the pool, a resurfacing project can also be combined with new waterline tile, coping, lighting, spa improvements and equipment upgrades.
The result is an opportunity to change the color and appearance of the pool while addressing other aging components at the same time.
Custom Swimming Pools & Spas in Franklin
McMillion Pool Company also designs and builds custom swimming pools and spas for Franklin and Williamson County homeowners.
A new swimming pool should complement the architecture of the home and the way the family intends to use the backyard.
We can incorporate features such as:
- Custom gunite swimming pools
- Attached spas and spillover spas
- Sun shelves and tanning ledges
- Custom steps and benches
- Natural-stone coping
- Travertine and stone pool decks
- Sheer descents and water features
- LED pool and spa lighting
- Pool and spa heating
- Variable-speed pumps
- Premium interior finishes
- Automated pool controls
- Smartphone pool and spa operation
We design pools for more than appearance. The plumbing, hydraulics, equipment and controls are planned so the pool is comfortable to use and practical to maintain.
The goal is to create an outdoor space where children, parents, grandparents and friends can swim, relax, entertain and spend time together at home for years to come.
Pool Equipment & iAquaLink Automation
Many established Franklin swimming pools have been updated multiple times over the years. Pumps, heaters and controls may have been replaced individually while the original plumbing and equipment configuration remained largely unchanged.
McMillion Pool Company can evaluate the entire pool equipment system and recommend improvements where appropriate.
We have extensive experience with Jandy pool equipment and iAquaLink smartphone automation, as well as variable-speed pumps, filtration systems, pool and spa heaters, salt systems and automated controls.
Modern pool automation can allow homeowners to control many pool functions directly from a smartphone, including:
- Pool and spa operation
- Water temperature
- Pool and spa heaters
- Variable-speed pumps
- LED lighting
- Spa mode
- Water features
- Filtration schedules
For older or complicated equipment installations, we can also evaluate whether the existing plumbing and controls can be simplified or reconfigured for easier operation.
